This is the front of my CD cover. I decided to choose neutral colours, such as black and white, to help link with the type of music but also, to link with the name of the album 'Inventions of the 1950's'. The album cover is of a retro TV, with the band image in the middle, turned black and white. Other than putting in a close up shot of the band, I decided to chose something that could look like it could easily be a shot from a TV programme or music show. (Hence why the band is far away and some members have heir backs turned to the camera). I think the CD cover works well, because of the main image, the CD isn't as recognisable as say, a Lady Gaga CD, but would be easier to find than a CD with band album artwork on it. Even though the CD has a very neutral back/front cover, I think that it is easy to remember and will stand out to other CD's.
